真爱

　　今天收到朋友通过WhatsApp寄来的图片，那就是圣经中相当著名的章句：“神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的，不至灭亡，反得永生。”（《约翰福音3：16》）

　　特别的地方，是这图片把章句做了一番编排，把情人节的英文字母VALENTINE显示出来，可说是匠心独运：

2012年回顾

　　2012年，长子靖邦踏入中学阶段，除了英文、华文、数学、科学等四科之外，增加了人文科目（文学、历史、地理），再加上课外活动（军乐队）占了三个半天的时间，课业日益繁重，数理与人文科目之间成绩差距大，最好的成绩是数学A1，最差的是历史不及格，因此替他找了文学、历史、地理的补习课，希望能改善成绩。

　　2012年，次子靖恒读小学五年级，参加了与中国广东省佛山市南海石门实验小学合办的浸濡交流活动。8月初，石门小学生们前来新加坡，我们家还接待了两名石门小学生周末寄宿。11月年终学校假期一开始，轮到靖恒与其他克明小学同学们飞往广东参观石门小学，展开浸濡交流活动（参阅石门小学网站校园新闻报道）。回新之前，克明小学师生们顺道在香港留宿，参观了迪士尼乐园，其乐融融。

　　2012年，我们一家人又到日本旅行。这次是在十二月份去，东京住三晚、新雪谷（Niseko，或译为二世谷）四晚、札幌（Sapporo）三晚，12月14日出发，12月24日圣诞节前夕回新。我们在新雪谷滑雪时，适逢提早降雪，那四天滑雪场内皆新雪，很适合滑雪。最后两天，靖恒还尝试滑雪板，上了两次课后就很快上手，能跟着我们滑雪了。

　　2012年，创新正式停止个人数码娱乐新产品的研发，我把相关研发人员纳入开发声霸产品的商业单位；而美国那边的高级科技中心，我则继续每个季度出差一趟，与经理及研发人员进行检讨和规划。

　　2012年，新造教会（New Creation Church）正式启用星宇表演艺术中心（The Star Performing Arts Centre），第一场布道大会在12月23日举行，我们当时还在日本，无法出席。过后连续几个星期日，我都无法定到座位，一直到上星期日（2月3日）才如愿以偿。

　　多两天就是农历新年了，在此祝愿大家万事如意，身心安康！

“X元素”片尾语

　　“X元素”是新传媒8频道拍摄的20集科幻悬疑连续剧，2012年12月24日圣诞前夕开始，每周一至周五晚上9点播映，总共6个单元：“13楼半”、“年龄小偷”、“梦境世界”、“时间穿梭”、“摇滚乐手”、“平行世界”，题材相当新颖。

　　“X元素”片尾都会附上一段中英对照的语录，内容与该集剧情相关，但也可以个别欣赏，另有一番风味：
